New: Manage Microsoft 365 Unified Groups with ADO++
With ADO ++, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online and Teams can be comfortably managed. More and more companies are using Microsoft cloud services for their applications.
There are 2 configurations for using Microsoft 365:
1.
The users are located in the company's local Active Directory (On
Premise) and with DirSync are synchronized with the Azure AD. This allows the
local and Microsoft 365 resources to be shared.
2.The users in Microsoft 365 are not synchronized with an on-premises Active
Directory.
Both configurations can be managed with ADO ++. ADO++ presents both
the Azure AD and the local AD in browser mode. The correct input mask
opens automatically for editing. Users created by synchronization in the
Azure AD are automatically processed in the local AD.
Azure AD users existing only in Azure AD are not visible in the local AD. They can be reached via the Microsoft 365 browser selection in ADO++.
Microsoft 365 Multi Tenant Usage
ADO++ offers support for multiple Tenants. ADO++ can manage the access and switch between the tenents comfortably.
Exchange Online and Exchange On Premise
ADO ++ can manage local Exchange servers and
Exchange online and, of course, mixed operations.
The user administration recognizes whether an Exchange mailbox is on the
local server or in the cloud. Accordingly, ADO ++ connects to the local
or cloud instance of Exchange. The input masks are largely the same for
both environments. Only certain options are not available in both worlds
and may therefore be grayed out.
Skype for Business On Premise and Microsoft Teams
ADO ++ can manage a local Skype for Business infrastructure and a cloud-based Teams environment, as well as, of course, mixed operation.
ADO ++ represents the Azure Active Directory objects in a flat structure (similar to the global address book of Outlook).
ADO ++ is very fast in the object display through caching algorithms after the objects have been loaded once.
Selection of Microsoft 365 Userobjects
The Microsoft 365 objects users, groups and contacts in Azure AD are displayed in ADO ++ in another browser window. You can also see whether the objects were created through synchronization or were created in Azure AD. Correspondingly, the correct options are selected for processing. In the case of synchronized objects, processing takes place automatically in the local AD, otherwise in Azure AD.
Searching Objects in Azure Active Directory
ADO ++ has a powerful search for objects in Azure AD. When you press a character, a search window for entering the name opens; an advanced search is also available.
